As an integral part of the Sales Team and reporting to the Director of Sales, the Territory Manager serves as the primary representative between the company and its client base, and facilitates the sale of products and related services to new and existing accounts in a developing territory. The Territory Manager will plan and coordinate sales activities to maximize existing sales opportunities and develop new market opportunities in enterprise software solutions.

Requirements

  • You should have a strong hunter and sales mentality, be motivated by success and financial gain, and will also be energetic, articulate, persistent and able to communicate effectively with proven verbal and written skills
  • Provide assistance in the development of new opportunities, and lead-share to sell value-added products and services
  • Manage ongoing product and service requirements and monitor client base for expansion, growth or potential moves.  Develop new accounts on an on-going basis through active prospecting, referrals, leads and personal initiatives
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with all suppliers in order to maximize discounts and best possible service from them
  • Promote and sell the various value-added services provided by the company
  • Passion and drive for open source software

Responsibilities

  • Revenue achievement against sales quota
  • Existing Account Management and New Account development - identifying prospective customer needs and developing innovative solutions to satisfy their requirements
  • Working with and developing relationships with partners to drive revenue
  • Revenue generation through targeted sales campaigns, including planning and implementation
  • Working as part of an Internal Sales team, each Territory Manager works on a sales territory working closely together with our local business partners
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of our technology portfolio and partners solutions
  • Provide weekly accurate sales forecasts

Skills & Knowledge

  • Minimum five years experience as an Account Executive in Software Sales
  • Proven IT and Sales experience (should be able to share and provide references, customers details, and projects details) 
  • Appropriate software training including presentation and documentation softwares
  • Must have proven success in consistently achieving goals, and possess strong commercial skills & target drive
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication (both verbal and written), and persuasive skills 
  • High level of energy, drive and enthusiasm
  • Time management, presentation and organizational skills
  • Must be able to prioritize work, be flexible, and work with minimum supervision 
  • Must be able to meet deadlines competently and timely; ability to work in a high pressure, fast moving and challenging environment
  • Self-motivated to continuously expand personal professional knowledge
  • Professional with good organizational and planning skills
  • Knowledge of open source will be an advantage
  • Bilingualism (English & French) is an asset
